|    ABOUT ME    |

Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand. I decided to move to the UK in order to contribute my knowledge, creativity and design skills to the interior/spatial design industry and develop my expertise and skills in Europe. After 4 years in kitchen design, I am now looking to expand into full interior architecture, with a particular interest in hospitality design. I have good communication and organisational skills to name a few, and can work independently and as part of a team. I am also an expert in many design and architectural software packages.

This often encompassed not only the kitchen design, but the interior design of the entire living space. I also worked closely with the customer during the quoting phase, to ensure that both their requirements and budget were met. Kitchen and Bathroom Sales Designer |
Godalming Kitchens & Bathrooms Ltd

Godalming, United Kingdom | Dec 2015 – Sept 2017, Full Time

My role encompasses the entire Design and Sales process from initial meeting through to final product. The process begins with establishing the clients’ wants and needs, interpreting their provided plans or measurements from an onsite survey, to produce a detailed design, plan and 3D perspectives. A quote is then produced from the design. These are then discussed and changed until a final design and quote has been agreed upon. My role is to then manage the installation process, from placing orders with suppliers and scheduling installation times around customer needs and the various production times. When works commence, my job; alongside the installation manager, is to make sure the job goes smoothly and the various fitters and products are in the right place at the right time.

Key Achievements:

  • Dealing directly with clients helped me improve my personal communication skills.

  • Obtained significant knowledge in the areas of Kitchens and Bathrooms.

  • Become a top drawer 3D designer with speed and accuracy to deliver great results.
